Beijing Fengtai: The Smart Agriculture Park is filled with a sense of technology

Winter greenhouses are common, but have you heard of summer greenhouses? In fact, solar greenhouses with technological support can not only be used for winter crop insulation, but also provide cooling for crop growth in summer, and provide suitable growth conditions such as water, fertilizer, and light for crops. In Zhangjiafen Village, Yungang Subdistrict, Fengtai District, Beijing, there are 24 solar greenhouses that are suitable for all seasons.

In the Smart Agricultural Park in Zhangjiafen Village, Yungang Subdistrict, 24 new solar greenhouses stood out in the scorching sun on a scorching afternoon. I thought, “In such a hot day, vegetables and fruits are trapped in the greenhouse, so I guess they will wither.” When I went in, I found that it was not as stuffy and hot as I thought, but very comfortable. The overhead circulation fan blows gusts of cool air, and the film at the waist line of the greenhouse has been removed, leaving only a layer of screen windows. Not only is it well ventilated, but it also prevents the invasion of flying insects. This greenhouse is planted with edible eggplants that can be eaten raw. They are currently in the full bloom and fruiting period, growing well. Professional technician Liu Hui said that the first crop of eggplants has entered the harvesting period.

On the wall at the entrance of the greenhouse, an intelligent control touch screen displays the current indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity in detail. Once the value exceeds the standard, on the one hand, it can be manually intervened in the shed, on the other hand, it can also adjust the high-pressure spray facilities in the greenhouse through the computer central control system in the command room of the park to cool and humidify.

The greenhouse frame can be operated by a computer to control the automatic retraction and release of film and winter cotton quilts. The greenhouse’s film is sprayed with specialized preparations, which not only ensures a certain degree of transparency, but also partially blocks ultraviolet rays to prevent crops from being sunburned. The edge of the field is also equipped with electric track harvesting cars. During harvesting, workers only need to place the vegetables they have picked on the top of each field, and the harvesting car can automatically deliver them to the entrance of the greenhouse, greatly improving harvesting efficiency.

The output of crops under such intelligent management and protection is also very awesome. Liu Hui said that each greenhouse covers an area of about 481 square meters. In June this year, the total output of 24 sheds totaled 17.5 mu of land, reaching 32 tons, including cucumber, tomato, eggplant, beans, peppers, loofah and other varieties. The park also participated in the high-yield arena competition in Beijing, and its output was recognized by the judges and experts.

The integrated water and fertilizer equipment in the greenhouse consists of multiple devices such as carbon filters, sand rate sensors, and reverse osmosis membranes, which are directly connected to the drip irrigation pipeline in the field. Simply click the corresponding button on the equipment to set the irrigation time and water volume, achieving precise irrigation of crops in the field. “At present, our soil and crops are in the second year of the organic conversion period, the treated irrigation water has reached the drinking water standard, and the fertilizer is liquid Manure, which is also a guarantee for the quality of fruits in the field.”. Liu Hui said.
