Utilizing Waste Resources to Plant Organic Vegetables

In recent years, in the process of vigorously developing green agriculture, Luxian County, Luzhou City has continuously promoted the green production mode, accelerated the reduction of pesticide and chemical fertilizer use, actively promoted organic Vegetable farming, unified prevention and control, and green prevention and control technology, and continued to fight against soil pollution, effectively promoting the high-quality development of agricultural industry.

Recently, when we walked into the organic planting demonstration base in Luxian County, various seasonal vegetables were growing well. Agricultural technicians from the Luxian County Agriculture and Rural Bureau and villagers gathered tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplants, chili peppers, etc. at the vegetable base, and then bagged and boxed them. The fertilizers used for these promising vegetables are all prepared by agricultural technicians themselves, and are grown organically throughout the process without any added chemical fertilizers.

It is understood that since the base was built and operated for 10 years, it has introduced more than 100 new vegetable varieties for experimental demonstration, basically explored and formed the technical operating procedures for organic vegetables, and the results of organic planting have been well presented. Nearly 100 kinds of vegetables are produced every year. These vegetables are all organically grown with biotechnology from sowing, seedling raising, production, management to Pest control, which greatly improves the quality of crops, Ensuring the quality and safety of agricultural products. At the same time, it greatly reduces planting costs and increases land efficiency.

“Straw, straw, bagasse, animal excrement, food waste, oil withered and other wastes are produced into water fertilizer through biological fermentation in the open-air fertilizer pool, which is a good Manure and also a good medicine for repairing land and improving soil. We use all waste resources, traditional ways and modern biotechnology, and use our own fermenting enzymes as microbial carriers to ferment, so as to solve the source of a large amount of base fertilizer, and then make The control effect of functional enzymes on diseases and pests is very obvious Liu Xiaoping introduced, “This is the water and fertilizer that we use various waste resources, including leftover food, sugarcane bagasse, sugarcane husks, and animal organs, to spray in the middle and later stages of vegetables, which is a very good nutritional supplement in the middle and later stages

Due to its good quality, the vegetables grown here, although priced higher than regular vegetables, still fall short of demand. In order to promote organic Vegetable farming throughout the county, the base also organized agricultural technology training to attract Vegetable farming to learn planting techniques.
