Analysis on the development of China’s agricultural product trade industry in 2022: the total import and export of agricultural products is 334.32 billion US dollars

Agricultural products are items produced in agriculture, such as rice, sorghum, peanuts, corn, wheat, and local specialties in various regions. The state stipulates that primary agricultural products refer to plants, animals and their products obtained in agricultural activities, excluding processed products.

In 2022, my country’s total import and export of agricultural products will be US$334.32 billion, a year-on-year increase of 9.9%, accounting for 5.3% of my country’s total foreign trade import and export. Among them, exports were US$98.26 billion, a year-on-year increase of 16.5%, accounting for 2.7% of my country’s total foreign trade exports; imports were US$236.06 billion, a year-on-year increase of 7.4%, accounting for 8.7% of my country’s total foreign trade imports; trade deficit was US$137.8 billion, an increase of 1.7% over the same period last year .
