Nowadays, it is a critical period for corn field management. In Gushu Village, Liangbing Town, Antu County, villager Kan Zhaoyuan is using the remote control to accurately operate the plant protection drone to complete lifting, hovering, advancing and retreating actions.

“In the past, people used to spray medicine with a watering can on their back. The operation rate was low and it was difficult to apply medicine. Now, with drones, 1 hectare of corn can be sprayed in 10 minutes.” Kan Zhaoyuan told reporters that the use of drones is not only accurate , and the efficiency is high, about 30 hectares can be completed in one day.

It is also the first batch of farmers in the county to use plant protection drones for farming. This year, he has planted a total of 26 hectares of various crops. The plant protection drone is not only used by himself but also rented out, and has already operated more than 300 hectares.

Compared with the traditional method, the drone is not limited by the farming mode and area, the operation is relatively simple, it can be sprayed evenly, and the materials are saved, which can well promote the rooting and turning green of rice seedlings, which can improve the seedlings quickly, promote strong roots, The role of anti-drying and anti-aging.

Nowadays, there are more and more farmers like Kan Zhaoyuan who say goodbye to “steaming in the heat of the summer and scorching the backs of the sky”. The agricultural production mode has achieved a historic change from the traditional human and animal power of hoes, sickles, and oxen in the early days of the founding of the state to the current mechanical operations of seeders, harvesters, and drones.

It is understood that this year, the county’s crop planting area reached 795,500 mu, of which the drone application area was 60,000 mu and the conservation tillage area was 208,000 mu. During the spring ploughing and autumn harvest season, no-tillage planters, combine harvesters and other equipment became the “protagonists”, and the comprehensive agricultural mechanization level reached 92.72%. At the same time, actively promote new agricultural technologies, new machinery and tools, and the application area of ​​conservation tillage, deep loosening of arable land, and straw returning to the field has been continuously expanded.
