Why choose to import soybeans while guarding the soybean producing area? According to the reporter’s understanding, there is a supply-demand contradiction in the domestic soybean market. Enterprises import soybeans from the Heihe Port conveniently and at low costs, but this also squeezes the local soybean market in Heihe. How is the development of local soybeans in Heihe facing the current market situation? How can we break through the tight encirclement again?

The cultivation of soybeans in Heihe City has a long history, and the unique natural environment has also made the soybeans in the jurisdiction excellent in quality and good in commercialization. This year, Heilongjiang Province has assigned a local soybean planting task area of 15.497 million mu in Heihe City. According to agricultural scheduling data, as of May 23, the actual planting area of soybeans in Heihe City was 15.575 million mu, accounting for 78.6% of the total planting area in Heihe City, exceeding the task target of 78000 mu.

The “three cities, two counties, and one district” of Heihe City have jointly built a green non genetically modified soybean production base, highlighting the construction of agricultural standardization system and promoting the implementation of standardized production. Collect and revise 14 local agricultural standards such as soybeans, and develop and improve the standards for Heihe soybeans. Continuously deepen cooperation in land reclamation, promote the expansion of benchmark agricultural reclamation demonstration areas, and build a core area of 1.156 million mu of benchmark agricultural reclamation and a radiation area of 6.124 million mu.
