How to Innovate and Develop Xinjiang’s Smart Agriculture

Li Jing, a member of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the Xinjiang Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, stated in a speech at the forum that by 2025, the innovation capacity of Xinjiang’s agricultural machinery equipment industry will significantly improve, and the quality and reliability of key agricultural machinery products will reach advanced levels. We need to strengthen the integration of agricultural machinery and agronomy, promote the matching of good varieties, methods, land, and opportunities, and create conditions for the full process of mechanized operation and large-scale production. Establish and improve the modern agricultural industry technology system in Xinjiang, strengthen the construction of scientific and technological innovation platforms, improve the innovation capacity of agricultural mechanization technology, and accelerate the integration and demonstration of mechanization technology throughout the production of major crops.

At the opening ceremony of the forum, the China Agricultural Machinery Circulation Association, the China Pesticide Industry Association, the China Phosphorus and Compound Fertilizer Industry Association, and the China Seed Trade Association signed a smart agriculture cooperation agreement with Beijing Daearthworm Digital Technology Co., Ltd. and Xinjiang Tiannong Agricultural Machinery Co., Ltd.
