Recently, the reporter learned from the statistics department that since this year, Libo County has taken the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy as the overall focus, earnestly grasped the key strategic season of agricultural production, and under the premise of actively responding to the COVID-19, vigorously implemented various measures to maintain the good development trend of the agricultural industry with steady growth. In the first half of the year, the total output value of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, and fishery in Libo County reached 1.08 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.5%, an increase of 0.2 percentage points compared to the first quarter, ranking fifth in the state. From the proportion of output value in various industries, the planting industry accounted for the largest proportion, with an output value of 652 million yuan, driving an overall increase of 3.71 percentage points in the output value of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, and fishery.

Overall, the production and sales situation of vegetables and fruits in the second quarter of this year was better than in previous years. The cumulative total vegetable production in the first half of the year reached 93700 tons, an increase of 29.95% year-on-year and 20.9 percentage points compared to last year; The fruit production reached 64900 tons, an increase of 42.83% year-on-year and 36.2 percentage points compared to last year. The second quarter is mainly the harvest season for loquats, plums, bayberries, peaches, and grapes. Among them, loquats account for a relatively large proportion, with a yield of 33500 tons, a year-on-year increase of 102.3%, a production value of 268 million yuan, driving agricultural output value by 20.99 percentage points, and the total output value of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, and fishery by 11.54 percentage points. The planting scale of fruit specialty products is constantly expanding, and the scale advantage is constantly highlighted.

The level of agricultural production has steadily improved.
