Unmanned aerial vehicle flight defense technology helps to save agriculture, stabilize production, and increase income

At present, it is a critical period for hanging dry apricot field management. During the rush to catch agriculture in Chagrak Township, Wensu County, we coordinated and organized plant protection drones to carry out flight prevention and plant protection operations on crops, using technological means to ensure stable crop yield and increased income.

On April 23rd, in Kalasa Village, Chagrak Township, plant protection drones were conducting aerial defense operations on over 300 acres of hanging dried apricot planting base. Apricot trees are covered with green apricots. Under the remote control command of the technician, the plant protection drone flexibly shuttles back and forth in the air, carrying out spraying operations. The atomized drugs are evenly spread on the apricot trees, and the entire process is fast and efficient.

Guo Shubin, the director of the Training Center of Xinjiang Sanhe Drone Research Institute, said, “Now it’s time for apricot trees to prevent heartworms (stage) Today we will give them homework. This piece of land is about 164 acres, and it can be completed in about three hours. Among them, the first one is to save water, with a water saving amount of about 70% and a medicine saving amount of about 30%. If it is manual, it will take about three days to complete. After the apricot tree bears fruit, the main focus is to prevent solid worms, which should be done about three times. In the future, we will also do red spider prevention once.

With the help of advanced navigation operating systems, plant protection drones can quickly complete various plant protection tasks such as takeoff and hovering, aerial turning, and low altitude spraying. Compared with traditional plant protection methods, drones have more advantages in fertilization, pesticide application, and other aspects. Efficient flight prevention operations also provide convenience for spring agricultural production. Villager Aheniyazi Tunyazi has planted over 160 acres of dried apricots. This year is the first time a drone has been used for plant protection and flight prevention operations, and the efficient and fast plant protection and flight prevention methods have given him a taste of sweetness.

In recent years, Wensu County has accelerated the promotion of mechanization in the agricultural production field, extending mechanized operations from the ground to the air. On the basis of strengthening agricultural technology promotion, supervision of agricultural product quality and safety, agricultural meteorological flood control and drought relief, and agricultural machinery services, we actively expand various service functions, guide and drive planting farmers to achieve mechanized, professional, and information-based production models, and comprehensively improve the level of agricultural mechanization in the entire county.
