Heilongjiang: Digital Economy Fully Empowers Modern Agriculture

At present, it is the busy season for spring plowing and preparation, and various parts of Heilongjiang Province are relying on digital platforms to improve the quality and efficiency of grain production and consolidate the status of Heilongjiang’s grain as a “ballast stone”.

In recent years, Heilongjiang has continuously innovated and explored new agricultural production models, actively promoting the full cycle digital application of crops such as soil testing and fertilization, seed selection, seedling cultivation, field management, and harvesting, creating a “wild goose formation” for modern agricultural production in China, and taking multiple measures to ensure national food security.

The big data platform of digital agriculture in Zhaoyuan County, Daqing City, and the quality and efficiency improvement platform of digital agriculture in Longfeng District, centering on “agricultural product traceability, standardized planting, Internet of Things monitoring, agricultural informatization, and agricultural machinery scheduling”, have established five functional modules for agricultural production services. Taking the platform as a carrier, farmers are guided to use the platform to prepare for spring plowing, and through the platform to guide “planting good land in spring and selling good grain in autumn”.

Qing’an County, Suihua City has innovatively applied a digital platform in spring plowing production, allowing professional rice planting cooperatives to follow the platform in farming. Through the intelligent electronic control system, this platform ‘brain’ can monitor and control the water temperature inside the box in real time, perform oxygenation and alarm. Here, the seeds can be soaked, packed and stacked without flipping over, making it easy to manage. The quality and standard of the sprouts produced are good. The base workshop can produce about 500 tons of sprouts at once, “said Guo Dequan, a technician at the Jiuhong National Modern Agricultural Technology Demonstration Base in Qing’an County, There are 20 germination workshops like this in Qing’an County, and the entire spring planting season can complete 5000 tons of soaking and germination. Currently, they have covered over 85% of the county’s rice planting area.

As a leading area in China’s smart agriculture, Beidahuang Agricultural Reclamation Group Co., Ltd.’s Jiansanjiang Branch actively promotes the integration and application of digital technologies such as warm soup soaking, intelligent soaking and germination, substrate soil improvement, intelligent control of seedling fields, hard disk swinging and lifting machines, etc. By establishing a professional management and technical team, Beidahuang Agricultural Reclamation Group Co., Ltd. has achieved mechanization and intelligence throughout the entire process of seedling cultivation in China for the first time, shortening the seedling cultivation time by 5 to 7 days, and reducing the amount of seeds used per acre by 10%, Save 25 yuan in cost per mu. At present, Jiansanjiang Branch has promoted factory stacked darkroom seedling cultivation of 900000 acres.
