There are currently nearly 20 deep-sea aquaculture equipment like this in Fujian, with over 30 million cubic meters of factory aquaculture water and an annual production of nearly 5.5 million tons of seawater aquaculture. The development of Deep Sea Smart Fisheries benefits from the digital infrastructure construction in Fujian. Over 1100 5G base stations have been installed along the coastline of over 3700 kilometers in the province, achieving full coverage of offshore wireless networks.

Digital technology has also assisted the high-quality and industrialized development of characteristic agricultural products in the mountains of Fujian. The edible mushroom industry is a traditional industry in Gutian County, Fujian Province. The newly built over 1000 smart mushroom sheds can accurately simulate the wild environment in which edible mushrooms grow. The quality of edible mushrooms is stable, and the production has also significantly increased, achieving the digitalization of the entire industry chain of planting, management, processing, and sales.
