The Hanoi Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Development stated that in the spring of 2023, counties and towns in the city will actively carry out a demonstration model of crop drone sowing and spraying. Hanoi NICOTEX Joint Stock Company introduced a three-in-one drone for sowing, fertilizing and spraying pesticides in agricultural production to farmers in Shanxi City, Shishi County and My Duc County. With the remote control system, the drone operator only needs to stand on a good terrain to operate the equipment. The radar system has automatic obstacle surmounting and ground simulation functions to ensure complete safety during operation. For sowing, 3-4 hectares of seeds can be sown per hour in good weather and high purity in the field. Similarly, for insecticides, sprayers can cover 30 to 40 hectares per day. In addition, drone seeding has more uniform coverage and germination density than manual seeding. In the field of plant protection, the application of drones to spray pesticides will save labor costs, reduce the amount of drugs used, and protect the health of farmers. The use of drones can help to gradually change people’s understanding of the application of technology in agricultural production, thereby improving the productivity, yield and quality of crops.
